Dispose of unwanted papers with HP shredders. HP AF1009 is a micro- cut shredder that ensures your information will be deleted.
When you look for a shredder, look for two main characteristics; how safe it is and its capacity to shred a large volume of papers. The micro- cut shredder is perfect for shredding any personal or confidential documents you may have.
The AF 1009 shreds paper into small pieces and can guarantee a higher level of security than a cross-cut shredder. Plus, if you are worried about how safe the shedder will be with your kids or family around, you can stop worrying. It has an auto stop sensor function that can assure you of the safeness of your loved ones around the machine. If you are looking for a safe and efficient shredder, this shredder is for you!
Move the Slide Switch to the “Rev” (Reverse) position and carefully pull out the paper.
This likely has to do with the Auto Run Sensor not being engaged correctly. Make sure no paper is inserted in the throat area. Turn the shredder On and Off. If that does not resolve the situation, please call Customer Support at 833-523-0800.
Overheat -After a period of constant running, the shredder will experience increased heat which will turn the shredder off . This is normal. Let the shredder rest for 30-40 minutes and then continue to shred .
Overload- The overload LED indicates an excessive amount of paper has been inserted into the manual shred slot. Move the Slide Switch to the “Rev” (Reverse) position and gently remove the paper. To avoid this, make sure to shred in accordance with your shredder capacity specified on your manual.
Bin full- Indicates the bin is full and needs to be emptied. Reinsert the clean bin and continue to shred.
Each shredder has different features, refer to your Shredder manual to determine if your shredder can handle credit cards , cd’s, paper clips or staples.
Unfortunately , you cannot. Labels will harm the internal mechanism of the shredder.
